Inside a factory where there is a BOTTLING LINE, the boxes containing the caps are kept in stock.
Here the temperature is much lower than in the other departments, especially in winter… not to mention that very often, due to lack of space, the caps are stored outside, in a covered area.
Can low temperatures have negative effects on the caps during production?
When these caps are brought into the filling area, to be loaded on the elevator, they undergo an important temperature change.
What problems could you have?
Think about what happens to our hands during the winter: they crack and split.
The temperature changes in fact make our skin very sensitive and delicate.
Like our skin, caps become very delicate in the cold and their safety seal can break during transport from the elevator to the corker.
In this short video we recommend which “hand cream” you should use to save your caps.
